As the business grew in the early 90’s it was clear that we needed to devolop our branding but we could not decide which name to use.

Our family name “Contigiani” seemed too long and difficult to pronounce abroad. We then thought to reverse our name: Contigiani became Giani Conti albeit perfected with the extra “n”.

The addition of the “man figure” was rendered necessary to distinguish us from other potential Gianni Conti namesakes.
